Job Summary
- Read drawings and instructions to understand quality expectations for product and supplies
- Approving or rejecting finished goods against quality standards
- Select product samples and check them using appropriate methods (measurement of dimensions functional tests comparison with specifications etc.)
- Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures
- Maintain records of tests information and various measurements such as the number of defective products per day etc.
- Inspect finished products to meet minimum customer focused standards for FORM-FIT-FUNCTION & SAFETY
- Monitor equipment usage to ensure it is safe and properly maintained as well as discard anything that does not meet requirements
- Prepare and send reports to the quality manager
Qualifications :
- Experience as a quality inspector or in a related position a plus
- You must be detail-oriented and show a result-oriented approach
- Responsible and reliable
- Familiarity with quality testing systems and machines is desired
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality control standards is desired
- A quality control certificate is a strong plus (ISO 9000 etc.)
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- High School Degree/GED Required minimum; Higher qualifications will be valued
- Bilingual is a plus
