The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate / Senior Associate to join our Hong Kong Public Companies practice. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to provide legal advice and support to public companies in Hong Kong. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in advising public companies on a wide range of corporate and securities law matters.
- Draft and review legal documents including prospectuses annual reports and regulatory filings.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
- Support senior lawyers in the preparation and execution of transactions including mergers and acquisitions initial public offerings and other corporate finance activities.
- Liaise with clients regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in due diligence processes and prepare due diligence reports.
- Keep abreast of developments in corporate and securities law and provide updates to the team and clients.
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- Hong Kong qualified lawyer
- 2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and securities law preferably with a focus on public companies.
- Must have relevant working experience in HK IPO transactions and advising on Listing Rules issues.
- Prior experience in public company M&A also advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin are a pre-requisite and the ability to speak Cantonese would be a strong preference.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
