Role Purpose
- Perform riding and / or outstation support duties;
- Assist the Duty in Charge (DIC) to lead a LM roster team Outstation Maintenance team or AOG team to accomplish planned and unscheduled maintenance inputs;
- Owner of the assigned maintenance inputs ensure the tasks are performed with the highest safety standards efficiently and cost effectively;
- Monitor supplier(s) product quality and performance delivered to meet the regulatory standards and agreed service level;
- Provide training and coaching to subordinates;
- Drive and ensure best practices been adopted within the team;
- Perform riding and/or outstation support duties;
- Support the DIC in managing daily tasks and act as their duty as required;
- Perform and carry out other duties and projects the DIC would assign.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree or above qualification in aircraft engineering or a qualification that demonstrates professional experience in aircraft maintenance;
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in aircraft maintenance;
- Possess valid Hong Kong CAD license or ICAO type 2 license (certification with authorisation experience on release of / or aircraft engine / component or professional planning experience are considered as equivalent to the qualification (e.g. CCAR FAA EASA JCAB KCAB etc.)
- A320 series aircraft maintenance certification experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties;
- Strong interpersonal skills and good team player;
- Ability to set goals in respect of maintenance performance and safety;
- Work well under pressure with and ability to work in fast-paced environment;
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese.
