We are currently recruiting for a full-time remote Customer Service Representative to join our team in Portugal. Your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding support and solve issues for our French-speaking clients across various communication channels including phone email and chat. You will act as the crucial first point of contact ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.
Key Job Duties
You will manage and resolve customer inquiries about mention area of product/service e.g. product use billing or technical issues. This involves troubleshooting problems clearly communicating solutions in French and meticulously documenting all interactions within our customer management system (CRM). You will also collaborate with English-speaking internal teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to resources that improve our overall service quality. As this is a role governed by Portuguese law you will ensure all activities adhere to company policies and local teleworking regulations.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
To be eligible for this position you must meet strict residency and language criteria:
- Portuguese Residency is Mandatory: You must already live in Portugal and possess a valid Título de Residência (Portuguese Residency Card). Applications from individuals residing outside of Portugal will not be considered.
- Language Fluency: You must have native or near-native fluency in French (written and spoken) and be proficient in English (a minimum of B2 level is required) for all internal communication and training.
- Remote Setup: You must have a quiet dedicated space in your home in Portugal to work effectively.
- Tech Literacy: You should be comfortable using software tools computers and communication platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
While we appreciate candidates with previous experience in customer support or call center environments it is not mandatory. We welcome driven individuals who are eager to learn and possess excellent people skills including patience strong listening abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
