We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to provide first-class support to our French-speaking customers. This is a full-time remote position allowing you to work from anywhere in mainland Portugal or the autonomous regions provided you have a stable and secure home office setup.
In this role you will be the primary point of contact for our customers handling inquiries solving problems and ensuring a positive experience across all communication channels.
Location: Fully Remote Must be a resident of Portugal
Key Responsibilities
- Provide multi-channel support: Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally via phone email live chat and social media with a focus on our French-speaking user base.
- Problem Resolution: Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to mention product/service area e.g. billing technical support order tracking.
- Information Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
- Knowledge Base Contribution: Contribute to and utilize our internal knowledge base to ensure consistent and accurate information is provided to customers.
- Process Improvement: Identify and escalate recurring issues and pain points to the relevant departments (e.g. product tech team) to help improve overall customer experience.
- Cross-Cultural Communication: Efficiently communicate with internal teams and managers using your English skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Adherence to Compliance: Ensure all customer service activities comply with company policies and Portuguese legal requirements for remote work.
Essential Requirements
- Language Fluency:
- French: Native or near-native fluency (C1/C2 level) in both written and spoken French is mandatory.
- English: Excellent communication skills in English (minimum B2 level) for internal communication training and working with company systems.
- Portuguese Residency: You must currently reside in Portugal and possess a valid Portuguese Residency Card (Título de Residência). Applications from candidates not already based in Portugal with valid residency will not be considered.
- Remote Work Capability: Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively from a home office environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort and proficiency with technology including CRM software Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and communication tools (Slack Teams etc.).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional active listening empathy and problem-solving skills with a professional and patient demeanor.
Desirable (But Not Required)
- Prior experience in a Customer Service Call Center or remote support role is a strong asset though not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Portuguese labor laws as they relate to teleworking.
