We are looking for a Canada Recruiter who is passionate about client interaction and ready to move into a Business Development role focused on building and managing client relationships across Canada.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate is a Canada Recruiter with hands-on experience in sourcing and placements who now wants to transition into client-facing business development. You will leverage your understanding of the Canadian market recruitment process and talent landscape to establish and grow client relationships with direct clients MSPs and staffing partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify target and onboard new clients within the Canada staffing market.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with hiring managers procurement teams and MSP partners.
- Generate business leads through LinkedIn job boards networking and industry connections.
- Collaborate with the delivery/recruitment team to ensure quality submissions and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Draft proposals negotiate rates and finalize contracts.
- rack and report weekly business development metrics and achievements.
- Participate in client calls business reviews and feedback sessions to ensure client retention and growth.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a Canada Recruiter (IT or Non-IT staffing).
- Strong understanding of the Canadian job market hiring trends and vendor ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a business-driven mindset.
- Prior exposure to MSP/VMS environments (e.g. Beeline Fieldglass etc.) preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple accounts and drive independent client conversations.
- Ambitious self-motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or MBA in HR Marketing or related field.
- Proven track record in achieving recruitment or business development goals.
- Experience with CRM or ATS tools (e.g. Bullhorn Ceipal JobDiva etc.).
