Job Summary
Step into a pivotal role where your expertise in application support and system development will keep our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) running at its best. Youll solve complex problems deliver smart solutions and help shape the future of food quality and safety in Aotearoa.
This is a full-time permanent position to commence in October or November. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and start anytime between 7am and 9am. You will have the option to be based at our office in Auckland Wellington or Christchurch and willing to travel occasionally to our other key offices in NZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- A range of tasks geared towards software development and LIMS system support.
- Conducting business-as-usual tasks and project work.
- Problem solving analysis user centric design and technical form design & build.
- Deliver value to the business by working with stakeholders business analysts and the other LIMS Development team members in an agile manner.
- Collaboration with other IT teams
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience in an Applications Support Analyst role or working in a Commercial Laboratory environment using LabWare or another LIMS.
- Strong computer literacy plus a friendly and professional phone & email manner.
- Good analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to be productive working unsupervised.
- A tertiary qualification in IT and background in science will be advantageous.
