Iron Bull Distillery located in Halethorpe Maryland is proud to be part of the Sazerac Company. We offer a positive work environment competitive pay and benefits and a strong commitment to work-life balance. Were currently seeking Maintenance Techniciansto join our team. The plant operates on a 4-day workweek schedule Monday through Thursday and occasional Fridays.
Job Description/Responsibilities
What Will You Be Doing
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the bottling equipment; this includes completing preventative maintenance tasks assisting the production technicians with breakdowns and new installations as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment programmable logic controllers (PLC) and variable frequency drives (VFD)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Identify and resolve PLC-related problems utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skills
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities including work orders and equipment logs
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

What Are We Looking For
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3 years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience required
- Ability to work 10-hour shift Monday through Thursday on either day or night shift with overtime on Fridays as necessary
- Days: 7:00am-5:00pm
- Nights: 5:00pm-3:00am
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
- Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Associates or technical degree preferred
