Job Description
Position Overview:
Teledyne FLIR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our dynamic team at our Teledyne Facility in this role you will be the primary point of contact for national and international customers providing exceptional post-sales support related to service repair and maintenance of our advanced sensing systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing service orders coordinating logistics and maintaining accurate records throughout the service lifecycle.
This position requires a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills strong organizational abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will collaborate closely with program managers business development teams and internal departments to support the growth of our service business. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer inquiries service requests and order status updates.
- Process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and service orders using SAP.
- Prepare and issue quotes for repairs upgrades spare parts refurbished systems and service maintenance agreements.
- Create purchase requisitions for inventory parts and repairs and interface with procurement team planners and buyer.
- Oversee theaccurate tracking and management of inventory including raw materials finished products and supplies.
- Track and manage incoming and outgoing shipments including international logistics and ITAR documentation.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with Global Trade Compliance regulations such as visitor management and facility control.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs returns inventory and document control.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply to create purchase requisitions for inventory and outsourced repairs.
- Support program managers sales and business development teams with customer data and reporting.
- Respond to customer requests for lead times pricing and technical support coordination.
- Perform general administrative duties and assist with office management tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish.
- Familiarity with Global Trade Compliance
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI
- Understanding of international and domestic shipping processes
HAZMAT certification
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Previous experience in customer service service center coordination or technical support roles.
- Background in industries such as defense aerospace or high-tech manufacturing is a plus.
Special Note:
Any previous experience in the following areas would be beneficial: Customer Service Representative Customer Support/Service Representative Service Center Support Coordinator Customer Experience Analyst Customer Service Office Manager and/or Global Trade Compliance.
This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
