Whats the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Financial Crime Screening and Regulatory Reporting team. The team is responsible for the oversight of Financial Crime (including Sanctions) customer name and payments screening capabilities monitoring and adherence to regulatory reporting requirements for ITFI and TTRs.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Screening and Regulatory Reporting the Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Westpac Groups Financial Crime Risk Standards with a focus on customer and payment screening and regulatory reporting.
The role serves as a subject matter expert in Financial Crime screening providing strategic advice and oversight to projects impacting screening capabilities. Key responsibilities include delivering effective analytics testing system changes and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of screening operations. The role also involves assessing system outputs to identify improvements and supporting business decisions through data-driven insights.
