Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited one of Ghanas leading life insurance providers is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee its Retail Business Unit. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution focused on expanding our individual life insurance portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build and lead strong sales teams drive performance against targets and implement effective strategies in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment. If you are passionate about people development business growth and delivering value-driven insurance solutions to clients then this role is for you.
- Ability to recruit quality and adequate manpower train and lead them to meet sales targets (cases and premiums) on consistent basis.
- An expert in prospecting appointment booking lead/referrals generation sales closing organizing/doing institutional presentations and sales activations.
- Proficient sales leadership and management skills in achieving given sales KPIs.
- Ability to research create new ideas develop winning sales strategies and effectively execute them to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- A smart business development guru sales planner controller and executor
- Proper vetting of proposal forms and timely submissions
- Exhibit professional sales practice and excellent client service delivery
- Quality accurate and timely reporting
Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelors Degree or Professional Qualification in Insurance
- A minimum of two years experience in sales leadership role. This notwithstanding fresh graduates with leadership abilities can also apply.
- Must be very competent in Agency Recruitment
- Good people management and emotional intelligence skills
- Ability to recruit talented Agents provide field support co-ordinate organize lead and control a salesforce of more than ten to excel on the job.
- Good communication presentation and interpersonal skills (verbal and non-verbal)
- Ability to build good relationships network and broker business deals
- Skilled in sales forecasting good decision making and a solutions provider
- Proficiency in computer software (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
