As the Associate Talent Acquisition at our Mumbai office you will play a pivotal role in driving large-scale recruitment efforts to meet our growing organizational needs. This role involves end-to-end ownership of mass recruitment processes from sourcing and screening to onboarding while ensuring efficiency and candidate experience at scale. You will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure timely closures of high-volume positions across departments.
Source and screen resumes to identify candidates suited for bulk hiring drives.
Conduct initial telephonic interviews to evaluate candidate suitability.
Shortlist and present qualified profiles to hiring managers.
Schedule and coordinate multiple interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Manage job postings across platforms (Naukri Internshala LinkedIn Indeed etc.) to attract high volumes of applicants.
Share offers or rejection communications with candidates on time.
Facilitate onboarding procedures for large batches of new hires.
Conduct background verification and reference checks at scale.
Maintain recruitment trackers and prepare reports using Google Sheets.
Oversee daily HR operations related to bulk hiring.
Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Must-Have:
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in HRM or related field.
12 years of experience in recruitment with exposure to bulk hiring or mass recruitment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite.
Attention to detail punctuality and discipline.
Should Have:
Experience working in fast-paced environments with large-scale hiring targets.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in educational institutes or recruitment agencies.
HR certifications or training in recruitment/HR operations.
Required Skills:
Must-Have: 1-2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition & Generalist HR preferably with at least 1 year in a lead or ownership capacity. Proven success in managing volume hiring across departments especially for sales or student-facing roles. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong stakeholder management. Proficiency in ATS tools and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Naukri or Zoho Recruit. Ability to work independently while collaborating with central teams across cities. Nice-to-Have: Prior experience in the education edtech or high-growth startup space. Exposure to employer branding campus hiring or referral programs. Familiarity with HRMS tools (Darwinbox Zoho or similar). Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
Required Education:
Experience and Qualifications:A Degree or Course in Digital Marketing is control on - Keyword Bidding Ad copy writing Re-marketing Keyword match-type strategies & Landing page analytical background with a great understanding of Google AnalyticsGood with numbers & logic (not math) to reverse calculate spends based on goals for media to have basic knowledge of WordPress Email & SMS Marketing & Marketing Automation on CRMs.
