Join AJW as an Overhead Accountant responsible for managing all aspects of overhead-related accounting including accruals prepayments and expense allocations. This role supports accurate financial reporting ensures proper treatment of overhead costs and contributes to the integrity of the month-end close process.
Overhead Accounting
Process and maintain accurate records for:
Prepayments and accruals.
Expense accruals.
Vendor Rebate reconciliations.
Respond to and resolve overhead-related queries from internal stakeholders.
Month-End and Financial Reporting
Review all overheads to ensure correct allocation and measurement.
Prepare the overhead reporting file.
Roll forward the Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports in the ERP.
Assist with the preparation of the Tax Pack for compliance purposes.
Vendor and Procurement Support
Manage the bank verification process for vendor set-ups and changes to vendor bank details.
Raise Finance Purchase Orders ensuring accurate coding.
Supporting the wider finance function where required with ad hoc duties.
Solid understanding of accounting principles especially surrounding overheads accruals and prepayments.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communicator with the ability to manage queries from cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the aviation industry
