The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing purchasing and vendor management activities of the organization. The role involves ensuring cost-effective procurement maintaining quality standards negotiating contracts and building strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will contribute to optimizing procurement strategies minimizing risks and supporting the organizations operational and financial goals.
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing favorable terms and quality products/services.
Manage vendor contracts ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and maintain accurate procurement records.
Monitor inventory levels track orders and coordinate timely delivery to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Analyze market trends identify risks and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance operations logistics and project teams) to align procurement activities with business needs.
Establish supplier performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to maintain high standards of service.
Develop and maintain procurement policies procedures and documentation for transparency and efficiency.
Oversee the procurement team (if applicable) and ensure adherence to organizational goals.
Prepare and present procurement reports budgets and forecasts to senior management.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in procurement supply chain or vendor management.
Professional certifications such as CIPS CPSM or PMP (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong negotiation analytical and decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes contract management and supply chain best practices.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and stakeholder management.
Ability to handle multiple priorities work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
