DescriptionJob Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead mentor and manage a small to medium team of immigration professionals fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and high performance
- Serve as the in-house expert on Middle East immigration laws policies and procedures
- Ensure all immigration strategies and activities are tailored to the specific legal cultural and operational nuances of the region
- Ensure full compliance with immigration laws and government regulations across Middle Eastern countries
- Proactively monitor regulatory changes assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity and legal integrity
- Develop and implement strategic immigration policies and processes for the Middle East region
- Ensure compliance with local laws government regulations mobility standards and internal policies
- Partner closely with HR Talent Acquisition Legal and business leaders to support workforce planning and employee mobility
- Evaluate and streamline immigration processes to enhance operational efficiency reduce processing time and improve employee experience
- Track immigration metrics generate regular reports and provide insights to leadership
- Proactively monitor immigration trends risks and regulatory changes advising leadership accordingly
- Proven experience in leading organizational readiness for regulatory changes or immigration reforms in Middle East
- Provide guidance resources and training to business stakeholders on evolving immigration practices and requirements
- Demonstrated people leadership and management skills
- Strong business acumen with ability to thrive in fast-paced high stakes and change-driven environment
- Knowledgeable of industry best practices and know how to leverage these to achieve world-class results
- Highly organized and able to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in relevant field required. Masters degree or law degree (LLB/JD) or equivalent preferred.
- 5 years professional experience in a Global Mobility Global Immigration or HR role in a high-volume corporate immigration environment
- Proven experience in immigration or global mobility management in the Middle East
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of regional immigration laws and procedures
- Ability to think strategically and execute operationally
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in related field or law degree (LLB/JD)
