Description

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead mentor and manage a small to medium team of immigration professionals fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and high performance
  • Serve as the in-house expert on Middle East immigration laws policies and procedures
  • Ensure all immigration strategies and activities are tailored to the specific legal cultural and operational nuances of the region
  • Ensure full compliance with immigration laws and government regulations across Middle Eastern countries
  • Proactively monitor regulatory changes assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity and legal integrity
  • Develop and implement strategic immigration policies and processes for the Middle East region
  • Ensure compliance with local laws government regulations mobility standards and internal policies
  • Partner closely with HR Talent Acquisition Legal and business leaders to support workforce planning and employee mobility
  • Evaluate and streamline immigration processes to enhance operational efficiency reduce processing time and improve employee experience
  • Track immigration metrics generate regular reports and provide insights to leadership
  • Proactively monitor immigration trends risks and regulatory changes advising leadership accordingly
  • Proven experience in leading organizational readiness for regulatory changes or immigration reforms in Middle East
  • Provide guidance resources and training to business stakeholders on evolving immigration practices and requirements
  • Demonstrated people leadership and management skills
  • Strong business acumen with ability to thrive in fast-paced high stakes and change-driven environment
  • Knowledgeable of industry best practices and know how to leverage these to achieve world-class results
  • Highly organized and able to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field required. Masters degree or law degree (LLB/JD) or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 years professional experience in a Global Mobility Global Immigration or HR role in a high-volume corporate immigration environment
  • Proven experience in immigration or global mobility management in the Middle East
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent understanding of regional immigration laws and procedures
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in related field or law degree (LLB/JD)
