Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday Friday 9:00 AM1:00 PM (Melbourne)
  • Client Timezone: Melbourne Australia (AEST/AEDT)

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage social media accounts across all major platforms (Facebook Instagram TikTok X/Twitter LinkedIn)
  • Create and schedule consistent engaging content that aligns with the accounting and advisory industry
  • Develop creative strategies and viral content concepts that resonate with Australian demographics
  • Handle community engagement including responding to comments messages and inquiries promptly
  • Conduct outreach activities including message blasts and connecting with relevant communities and influencers
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly
  • Provide regular reporting on social media performance and lead generation metrics
  • Collaborate with the founder to understand business goals and translate them into social media strategies.

Scope:

  • Part-time position starting at 20 hours per week minimum
  • Remote work arrangement with regular communication with Australian-based founder
  • Focus on organic social media growth rather than paid advertising
  • Primary goal of lead generation for accounting and tax advisory services
  • Opportunity to expand into SEO and broader marketing responsibilities over time
  • Direct reporting relationship with company founder
  • Flexible scheduling within business collaboration requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in social media management and marketing (portfolio required)
  • Experience working with clients in the accounting space preferred
  • Strong understanding of all major social media platforms and their algorithms
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Creative content creation abilities with knowledge of current trends
  • Experience with social media scheduling and management tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Willingness to learn about the Australian market and accounting industry
  • Strong responsiveness and ability to engage with followers in real-time
