Learn more at are seeking an outstanding Postdoctoral Scholar Chemistry and Chemical Biology passionate about applying their synthetic chemistry knowledge for the development of novel chemical proteomic methodologies to be in Springhouse PA. This candidate would be part of a unique experience jointly supported by Professor David MacMillan of Princeton University as well as the Discovery Proteomic Platforms (DPP) group within the Discovery Technologies and Molecular Pharmacology (DTMP) department of Therapeutics Discovery at J&J IM. Join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to deploying pioneering technologies to support the identification of novel disease targets within Oncology Immunology and Neuroscience!
You will be responsible for:
Plan and perform wet lab activities related to photocatalyst development organic synthesis mechanistic characterization and chemical proteomics workflows.
Independently interpret scientific literature to design perform and analyze data to define new experiments and studies for the progression of projects.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team across and within academia and industry.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at scientific meetings.
Ph. D. in Chemistry or a related field.
4 years of proven experience in a laboratory setting.
Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry.
Highly motivated and capable of driving projects forward independently with minimal daily oversight.
Strong planning and experiment coordination skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills working with diverse colleagues
Familiarity with chemical proteomics principles and workflows is preferred.
