Job Description:
Critical requirement Candidate has to be Protected-B certified or possess at least 5 years Canadian working experience.
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our BFSI operations.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business units to extract insights from financial customer and operational data helping drive strategic initiatives and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse financial transactional and customer data to identify trends risks and opportunities across banking and insurance portfolios.
Able to comprehend maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders using tools like Power BI Tableau or SAS.
Support regulatory reporting and compliance by ensuring data accuracy and alignment with industry standards (e.g. OSFI FINTRAC).
Collaborate with risk compliance and fi-nance teams to provide data insights that support fraud detection credit risk modelling and underwriting decisions.
Perform segmentation and predictive analysis to support customer acquisition retention and cross-sell strategies.
Automate data pipelines and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Monitor and report on KPIs such as loan performance claims ratios churn rates and operational efficiency.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives such as product launches pricing strategies and market expansion.
Ensure data governance and quality standards are upheld across all analytics activities.
Stay current with BFSI analytics trends including AIML applications open banking and digital transformation.
