Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. You will be involved in a variety of medical projects working closely with healthcare facilities to meet their staffing needs efficiently and effectively.
As a Locum MD Anesthesiology your role is vital in maintaining the quality of healthcare services and supporting medical facilities during staff shortages or peak times. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse assignments gaining valuable experience in different clinical settings and contributing to the overall well-being of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assess patients medical history and condition to determine appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Monitor patients before during and after anesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage and respond to any anesthesia-related complications or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of anesthesia care.
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialization in Anesthesiology.
- Valid state medical license and board certification in Anesthesiology.
- Proven experience working as an Anesthesiologist in a clinical setting.
- Excellent knowledge of anesthesia drugs techniques and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and schedules.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-5:30p
Weeknight and weekend beeper call shifts
Cases: General GYN ENT vascular thoracic urology etc.
No neuro or spine cases
EMR: Meditech
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
