As a Locum MD in Urology you will play a crucial role in delivering urological services ensuring patient safety and maintaining high standards of care. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urological care to patients
- Conduct patient examinations assessments and diagnostics
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with medical staff
- Perform urological procedures and surgeries as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients and their families about urological health and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Stay informed about advancements in urology and healthcare practices
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Experience in urology with a focus on patient-centered care
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills in urology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call shifts 7a-7a
Procedures: Everything from stent placement to nephrectomy
Support Staff: General hospital staff
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
