Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures and interpret imaging results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and imaging standards
- Provide guidance and support to radiology staff
- Engage in continuous professional development and training
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and results
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance activities
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Current state medical license to practice in radiology
- Experience in mammography and breast imaging
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
- Prior experience in a locum or contract role is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) 2 weeks per month
Full breast and procedure caseload
Must be board-certified
