Responsibilities
- Provide radiation oncology services to patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer radiation therapy in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment options and procedures
- Stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology
- Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus on Radiation Oncology
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology
- Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in radiation therapy technologies and procedures
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: 8a-4:30p and 7:30a-3:30p Monday-Friday
Will cover shifts at two nearby facilities
Setting: 90% clinic 10% hospital
Patient Population: Adults
Procedures: EBRT IMRT IGRT SBRT SRS conventional therapy hyper or altered fractionation brachytherapy and treatment planning
Office Equipment: Varian TrueBeam 4 electron energies 3 photon energies Phillips CT simulator with 4D Elekta Brachytherapy for GYN HDR
Treatment Planning Systems: Eclipse and Oncentra (HDR)
Must be board-certified
