OFFSHORE 1st LINE COMPLIANCE SUPPORT

About the role:



Were looking for a proactive and experienced individual to help manage the transition of key operational and 1st line compliance functions overseas. This is a hybrid role requiring hands-on involvement with compliance processes customer onboarding performance reporting. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality delivery across teams act as a point of escalation and help maintain strong communication and documentation standards throughout the transition and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the transition of customer onboarding support and 1st line compliance tasks to an offshore team
  • Develop and deliver training for offshore staff; maintain up to date training materials and process documentation
  • Conduct frequent 1st line quality assurance reviews and provide structured feedback to ensure offshore team performance meets the required standard
  • Serve as a point of escalation for the offshore team and troubleshoot operational or 1st line compliance-related issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams to maintain onboarding and support service levels particularly for high-risk or complex cases
  • Generate regular performance reports and provide insights to stakeholders on team efficiency QA outcomes and SLA adherence
  • Ensure all process and procedure documentation is accurate up to date and compliant with regulatory and operational standards

You should apply if you have:

  • 5 years experience in a compliance onboarding or operational support role within a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK KYC/AML processes transaction monitoring and customer verification requirements
  • Proven ability to deliver training and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and support processes
  • Experience managing or supporting operational teams
  • Previous team leadership experience is desirable
  • Ability to prepare and present performance reports using tools such as Excel Power BI or Tableau
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Organised detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities across teams and functions
