About the role.
Responsible for managing the mainline ingredient mixing room and providing safe forklift operation for specific jobs in the production facility. The successful candidate will work on 1 of the 4 designated production teams
What youll be doing.
Follow all GMPs Global BOPs and Safety processes
Be an active member/ and or support change management for the betterment of the facility
Active member/and or support committees and teams (IE JHSC Ergonomics and SUM Team)
Support creation and development of policies and procedures for their area
Boil out participation is required for this position.
Manage forklift safety and traffic within the designated forklift areas. Provide forklift specific tasks to the production team including loading ingredients managing inventory testing of %/concentrations etc.
Provide ingredients and forklift support to downline customers batter fryer starch and other duties as assigned.
Maintain sanitation practices specifically in the ingredient and starch rooms including clean up days.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What youll need to be successful.
High School Graduate
Forklift certified or proven past experience and willingness to recertify
Fine attention to detail
Proven effective time management skills
An understanding or proven ability to work in a manufacturing process
Proven ability to work independently and complete all tasks on a day-to-day basis
Able to prioritize and complete tasks with a keen sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written as well as effective presentation skills
Strong computer skills are required particularly with MS Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Teams and Outlook)
Shift schedule may be subject to change.
Must have a proven history of safe work habits.
Effective written oral mathematical and interpersonal skills.
Adheres to all Company rules regulations and policies and all relevant rules regulations and policies.
Experience in sanitation and chemical usage and asset

Compensation Package:$ -$ Starting at30.36 CAD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
