Coperion is currently seeking an Assembly Lead to support our location in Whitewater WI. This position provides daily direction training and support to assembly personnel. This includes assigning work training safety scheduling capacity recommendations adhering to ISO procedures continuous improvement projects inventory transactions and other similar duties. This position also does hands-on production work as required.
Schedule 1st shift Monday Thursday 6am 3pm & Friday 6am - Noon
Responsibilities:
Lead and direct department activities to meet production schedules cost targets and quality goals
Provide information direction and feedback to department personnel
Promote adherence to company policies procedures and work instructions
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve processes and efficiency while working with other team members
Support strategic change initiatives such as lean manufacturing new product integration and cross training
Hands on production assembly work as required
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 7 years senior level custom assembly experience
Effective computer skills
Knowledge of production processes related to mechanical assembly
Ability to read technical drawings and interface with engineering resources
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to time manage to meet deadlines
Use judgement and independent thinking
Proficient at planning scheduling organizing and decision making
Dependability a must
