Job Summary
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for quality and efficiency Were looking for a Workshop QC Lead to join our growing patio manufacturing business and take ownership of our workshop operations.
Tasks
- Lead and support a small workshop team (2 welders 2-3 cutters/hardware packers 2 delivery drivers)
- Ensure quality control of patio components against drawings and cutting lists
- Read and interpret technical manufacturing drawings
- Operate workshop tools including saws and assist in steel cutting when needed
- Manage stock levels and oversee dispatch/delivery logistics
- Maintain a safe clean and efficient workshop environment
- Act as a key point of contact between production and delivery
Requirements
- Strong workshop or light manufacturing experience (not warehouse)
- Proven ability to lead small teams and plan daily workflow
- Confident reading and working from manufacturing drawings
- Competent in using workshop tools and machinery
- Forklift license (required)
- Manual drivers license (required)
- Reliable organised and quality-focused attitude
