You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently seeking applications for a Business Support Officer within our Business Management Unit of Social Security Scotlands Chief Digital Office (CDO) based in Glasgow or Dundee.
The Business Support Officer post will work alongside colleagues supporting Senior Leaders across the CDO division and the wider organisation.
This is a high-profile and exciting area with continuing political public and media interest. The role will provide opportunities for successful candidates to make a significant contribution at the heart of Social Security Scotlands operation and to be at the forefront of work to deliver one of the Scottish Governments key priorities: delivering a stronger and fairer Scotland.
Social Security Scotland an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government is undertaking the largest and most complex IT and digital change programme since devolution. With a lifetime budget of over 300m Social Security Scotland is delivering a social security system that will support the people of Scotland for decades to come.

Experience
1.Strong diary planning and organisational skills including the ability to balance competing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information accurately clearly and concisely to a range of audiences.
3. Good working knowledge of corporate systems as well as IT packages such as eRDM and Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.

How to Apply
Apply online you must provide a CV and a Supporting Statement (of no more than 750 words) which clearly demonstrate how you meet the Experience required for the role as outlined in the Success Profiles above. Be sure to provide specific examples of work that youve done that showcase your relevant experience.
In the event that we receive a high volume of applications we may conduct an initial sift using the CV and Supporting Statement based on the first Experience criteria. Candidates who successfully pass this initial sift will have their applications fully assessed.
Candidates who are successful at sift stage will be invited to attend an interview and assessment. The interview and assessment will further assess the Experience and Behaviours listed in the job advert.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location which will be either Glasgow or you have specific questions about the role you are applying for please contact us.
