About the role
We are recruiting for 2 services (bungalows) in close proximity in Ystrad Mynach.
In one bungalow we support four independent and active ladies (30s70s) who love engaging in their local community whether its cinema trips walks in the park coffee outings or attending clubs. Each has their own Motability vehicle and enjoys a mixture of solo and shared activities. While theyre quite independent they value support with medication meal prep and day-to-day tasks like housekeeping and health & safety checks. Strong family connections are a key part of their lives.
In the other bungalow we support one lady and one gentleman (both 60s70s). The gentleman is a music and film enthusiast who enjoys community outings charity shopping and weekend visits with his sister.
You will be expected to support with daily aspects of living including:
Skills and Experience Needed
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.
