Senior Officer (Research Postgraduate Administration) ()
Job Overview
The Graduate School is dedicated to advancing the Universitys strategic vision by providing exceptional administration for research postgraduate education. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative team player to join our dynamic postgraduate administration team and contribute to the success of our programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Student Lifecycle Management: Support the administration of the student lifecycle for research postgraduate programmes including admission enrolment registration and graduation;
- Data Management and Vetting:Conduct thorough vetting and verification of student records to ensure accuracy and compliance and consolidate and maintain reliable data for programme administration;
- Reporting: Compile and analyse statistics and prepare reports; and
- Other Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field;
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in postgraduate programme administration or expertise in managing spreadsheets and databases;
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on teamwork;
- Analytical Mindset: Good analytical skills and a strong sense of responsibility; and
- Adaptability and Initiative: Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach in handling various tasks and challenges.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
