Our core focus is on enhancing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) outcomes for young children alongside developing strong Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) frameworks. We work in close partnership with state governments to drive evidence-based interventions teacher capacity building and sustainable policy change.
Role Overview:
The Strategic Implementation Lead is a critical high-leverage role responsible for translating the organizations 5-year FLN vision into measurable executed action across all program units. This position requires a blend of strong strategic thinking and disciplined execution to ensure that all large-scale foundational learning initiatives are aligned prioritized and driven to successful completion.
This leader will serve as the engine of accountability driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring the organization achieves system-wide change in foundational learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Execution and Accountability (FLN)
- Lead the execution of the organizations FLN strategy developing clear phase-wise roadmaps defining milestones and establishing rigorous accountability structures across all teams.
- Support the Executive Director in the disciplined prioritization of strategic initiatives and critical resourcing decisions that directly impact FLN program scale and quality.
- Establish and oversee robust mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating progress against key strategic goals and FLN indicators.
2. Cross-Team Coordination and Alignment
- Facilitate high-stakes cross-team coordination (e.g. between Content Training and Field Teams) to ensure organizational alignment and effectively break down operational silos.
- Provide structured problem-solving and data-backed decision support to senior leadership on complex implementation challenges within the education system.
3. Implementation Capability Building
- Build internal organizational capability for implementation discipline developing and institutionalizing standardized tools processes and governance mechanisms.
- Prepare compelling strategic updates presentations and briefs for both internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g. government and funders) regarding the strategys progress and impact on foundational learning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Education Management Public Policy or a related relevant field.
- 8-12 years of professional experience in high-level program management strategy consulting or strategic implementation ideally within the Indian education or social development sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading the execution of complex multi-stakeholder initiatives across a system.
Knowledge and Skills (Must-Haves):
- Expert analytical project management and cross-functional facilitation skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence and drive action across all organizational levels.
- Deep understanding of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) principles and the Indian public education system is a significant advantage.
