Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse

Territory: Whidbey Island and surrounding areas

Type: Fulltime

Wage: $33-$42

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care providing treatments and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.

Qualifications/Skillsets:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
• One (1) to two (2) years nursing experience preferred.
• Community health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State(s) of planned practice.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of geriatric population and their common needs and concerns.
• Capable of prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift position and/or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Capable of considerable reaching stooping bending kneeling and/or crouching. Possesses visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills
