Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your HVAC engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
Youll play a key role in defining the architecture and functionalities of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems for Rolling Stock ensuring that technical requirements are met while delivering high-performance solutions. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as sourcing manufacturing and validation engineers) lead technical development activities and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders and much more.
Youll specifically take care of delivering subsystem documentation (e.g. Requirement Specification and Architecture Description Technical Purchase Specifications) but also support the validation and testing of HVAC systems.
Well look to you for:
Defining the architecture and functionalities of Rolling Stock HVAC systems.
Ensuring interface and alignment with internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers and end customers.
Leading technical development in adherence to Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) commitments.
Conducting and obtaining approvals during design reviews.
Preparing and reviewing verification and validation activities including test procedures and FAI.
Supporting technical issue resolution during train revenue service and providing Return on Experience (REX) for future projects.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in HVAC engineering preferably in railways or the automobile industry.
Familiarity with train system knowledge and hands-on experience in the design development and validation of HVAC systems for railways.
Good understanding of the V-model System Engineering process.
Knowledge of Rational DOORS software (an asset).
Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally based on project requirements.
