Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Junior Clerk on a full-time temporary (12 month) basis on our Business Performance team at the Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC).
This position requires on site work and is based in Regina SK.

What youll do:
- You will complete Accounts Payable processing by managing the inflow of invoices for processing or distribution and attach back-up where required.
- You will work closely with CRC Project Managers Engineers Purchasing Agents and Suppliers/Contractors to ensure timely and accurate receiving and matching of invoices against purchase orders in the system applying the applicable tax correctly and addressing discrepancies as they occur. Provide supporting documents to work with CRC purchasing agents the business unit and suppliers to resolve issues related to invoicing and payments.
- You will prepare journal entries and payable adjustments as required and ensure invoices and other documents are stored correctly.
- You will perform a variety of accounting duties as assigned and includes varying levels of responsibility.
- You will perform various Data Entry duties as may be applicable.
- Other duties as required.

The Team: You will report into the Operations Accounting Supervisor and will work closely with teams in Accounts Payable Operations Accounting Project Accounting and Financial Accounting. This team strives to cultivate a culture of inclusivity support and flexibility.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have of 3 6 months of accounts payable experience or one year of closely related experience would be an asset.
- Have a Grade 12 plus Introduction to Financial Accounting (Sask Polytechnic ACCT122 and ACCT 125 or UofR ADM/BUS 285 or equivalent is required.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to meet and deal with visitors and employees in a prompt courteous and professional manner.
