- This is a Monday to Friday Dayshift 7:00 AM To 3:30 PM
- Tracing of Freight involves looking for missing freight researching Proof of Delivery (POD) and Bill of Lading (B/L) documents and determining the exact delivery time for shipments.
- Requests by customers and terminals via phone calls or emails
- Gathering information on shortages no pros no goods etc and finding common issues to report to the Terminal Manager.
- Calling the customer with exceptions to verify possible damages shortages re-routing and various other duties as requested by the customer regarding delivery problems.
- Obtaining return authorizations from customers or authorizations to reroute or re-deliver as required. Obtaining phone numbers confirming terms etc.
- Camera checks for missing freight
- Answering emails within 45 minutes
- Dealing with upset customers
Qualifications :
Pleasant mannerism is required
Well organized
Ability to work unsupervised
Knowledge of computers and typing skills are essential
Excellent data entry and listening/communicating skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to handle stressful situations and keep calm
Team player
Excellent communication skills both orally & written
Providing customers with excellent customer service and escalating issues
