The Head of Procurement will be responsible for leading developing and implementing the procurement strategy to ensure cost-effective efficient and compliant sourcing of goods and services. This role requires a strong negotiator and strategic thinker who can build supplier relationships manage budgets and drive value creation across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead the procurement team to achieve operational excellence and value for money.
- Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Establish and maintain vendor management systems including performance evaluation and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage procurement budgets forecasts and reporting to support financial objectives.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure timely supply of goods and services.
- Oversee contract drafting administration and renewals.
- Champion sustainable procurement practices and support corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred).
- Professional certification such as CIPS or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 10 years progressive procurement experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
