The Role

The Head of CEO Office supports the CEO with strategic and operational priorities ensuring the smooth functioning of the CEO Office and Leadership Team. The role includes managing cross-functional initiatives coordinating executive communications and maintaining key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft quarterly CEO reports for the Board

  • Coordinate CEO participation in external engagements e.g. conferences panels publications

  • Develop and maintain the strategic business plan and associated relationships

  • Prepare CEO talking points for key meetings (e.g. FSC Board)

  • Monitor media risks and manage reactive communications

  • Support CEO involvement in public events and government meetings

  • Liaise with industry bodies and manage internal working group participation

  • Maintain strategic materials for internal use e.g. purpose vision OKRs

  • Coordinate visits from parent company and VIP stakeholders including logistics and materials

  • Prepare agendas and materials for Leadership Team meetings and offsites

  • Manage relationships with external partners

  • Draft internal communications and CEO messaging in line with the annual comms plan

  • Support Town Hall preparation and facilitation

  • Draft press releases and LinkedIn posts for major announcements

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the CEO and collaborate closely with the EA to CEO

What you bring:

  • Experience in executive-level operations strategy or chief-of-staff roles

  • Strong project management and coordination skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication including executive-level messaging

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of discretion

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
