Supports and handles day-to-day activities required to ensure the running of critical systems for the company ensuring business service levels are met and environments are managed. Provides the Help/Service Desk support as well as coordinates and facilitates Incident Management resolution and communication during an incident. Provides immediate response to production program or system problems. Participates in testing cycles to ensure the ability to deploy and operability of infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operational workflows and systems for issues
  • Resolve operational issues promptly
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting
  • Analyze data for decision-making support
  • Generate reports to identify trends or anomalies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless processes
  • Assist in process improvement development and implementation
  • Maintain and update procedural documentation
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments for technical issue resolution
  • Conduct regular audits for compliance with standards
  • Provide training for new and existing team members
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Track analyze and report on operational metrics using software tools
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute operational insights
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues
  • Work towards long-term solutions for recurring issues
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely resolution of concerns
  • Prepare and present data findings to stakeholders
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post1secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PC skills (MS Word Excel PowerPoint) - Good.
  • Knowledge of the business/group processes/procedures/tools/techn ology.
  • Knowledge of applicable risk and regulatory requirements and the impact on the business/group.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with project management and task prioritization
  • Familiarity with operational workflows and systems
  • Ability to generate and analyze reports for decision-making
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in process improvement methodologies
  • Skills in documentation and procedural writing
  • Experience coordinating with IT for technical resolutions
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and audit procedures
  • Ability to conduct training sessions for team members
  • Competence with tracking and reporting on operational metrics
  • Involvement in team meetings and operational discussions
  • Aptitude for root cause analysis and developing long-term solutions
  • Commitment to maintaining high customer satisfaction

Salary:

$61600.00 - $113900.00

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
