Cordia Resources is seeking a Payroll Accountant. This role will be responsible for payroll processing related journal entries and payroll accruals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both payroll and general ledger accounting with experience supporting accurate and timely reporting.
Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and on schedule Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries Maintain and reconcile payroll accruals and related accounts Ensure compliance with internal controls policies and regulations Support month-end and year-end close processes related to payroll Collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll and accounting issues
Qualifications: Payroll and general ledger accounting experience required Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred Experience with UKG and Microsoft Great Plains a plus Strong knowledge of payroll practices and accounting principles Excellent attention to detail organization and analytical skills
