Job Summary
Our company is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in accounting with experience handling all financial aspects of a company. The accountant will be part of the Accounting Team assisting in the financial reporting of multiple entities.
Responsibilities as a member of the Accounting Team:
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliations daily activity reports and general ledger entries.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
Assist in the month-end and year-end close process including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations including GAAP.
Assist with the preparation of other financial reports as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices including GAAP.
Strong QuickBooks experience.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
