We are currently seeking a skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a CRNA you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process. Your role will involve collaborating with physicians surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the recovery room.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on anesthesia practices.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to anesthesia administration.
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
- Proven experience working as a CRNA in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3p
Call Requirement: 1 day per week 12 weekends per year
Case Types: General urology gynecology OB GI ENT
Will do own blocks will place and manage epidurals for OB
4 ORs 1 endoscopy suite 1 c-section suite
Supervision: MD onsite combination of supervised and independent cases
Support Staff: 2 MDs and 1 CRNA per day
EMR: Paragon
Must be board-certified
