Join our dynamic Account Management team in Berlin as an Account Manager (f/m/d) where youll play a vital role in client success and operational excellence. Your main focus will be on after-sales client management including issuing orders and invoices placing our print and online ads and handling activities related to the pv magazine web this role youll collaborate closely with your Account Management colleagues in Berlin and report to the Team Lead Account Management.
Your responsibilities
As an Account Manager (f/m/d) on the Account Management team you will:
Serve as the main point of contact for international clients ensuring smooth execution and delivery of advertising campaigns.
Coordinate ad placements and keep accurate records of all bookings.
Manage invoicing and payment tracking to maintain financial transparency including sending invoices and payment reminders.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to prepare and send out mailings.
Create customer reports and participate in regular reviews of print and banner advertisements.
Contribute to the preparation of both monthly and annual financial statements.
Work closely with Sales Editorial Events and Marketing teams to handle client requests and bookings aiming to exceed client expectations.
Take initiative to improve and simplify existing workflows and support the integration of new processes and technologies.
Support your colleagues in the Account Management team as needed.
Your profile
Relevant experience
Background in accounting customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce and advertising across print and online platforms.
Skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Effective problem-solving abilities
Proactive approach to tasks and projects
Languages
Fluency in English required.
Knowledge of German Chinese Spanish French Italian or Portuguese is considered a plus.
Technical proficiency
Familiarity with the MS Office suite
Experience using Google Ad Manager Mailchimp and WordPress
Preferred qualifications
University degree
Understanding of the renewable energy industry particularly solar PV or energy storage is advantageous.
