Technical Production Control Sr. Professional IWhat does a successful Technical Production Control - Sr. Professional I do At Fiserv a successful Technical Production Control - Sr. Professional I ensures that the production environments are stable reliable and optimized. You will be an integral part of a team that supports and manages the performance security and scalability of our technical environment aligning with our companys mission of leading and inspiring innovation in financial services.
What you will do:
- Client facing role that represents Incident Problem and Change management processes communications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and manage technical production environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Implement and maintain production control processes and automation tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development security and operations teams to deploy reliable and scalable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for system administration security and configuration management.
- Document production control policies and procedures ensuring they are up-to-date.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for production systems.
What you will need to have:
- 4 years of experience in technical production control or a related field.
- 4 years of experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- 4 years of experience in scripting languages such as Bash Perl or Python.
- 4 years of experience with production automation tools like Control-M or Autosys.
- 4 years of experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Splunk Nagios).
What would be great to have:
- 4 years of experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- 4 years of experience with database management systems (SQL Server Oracle or MySQL).
- 4 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Certification in ITIL or a recognized certification in production control standards.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
