Job Description
WGN-AM is looking for an energetic helpful and supportive team player to join the station inthis in-person full-time role as Continuity Specialist (NE).
The job duties include coordinating all aspects of commercial instructions. This person will work closely with both the sales and production departments to ensure commercials run accurately. The Continuity Specialists primary responsibility is to manage the arrival scheduling and delivery of commercial copy in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include traffic tasks such as order entry and affidavit completion day-to-day office support and providing backup to the Traffic Department as needed.
The right candidate will be proactive precise detail-oriented patient and comfortable working on deadlines while juggling multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive working relationships with a diverse team are essential.
Previous traffic or broadcasting experience is helpful but not required. Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic is a plus. Computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new software are key to success in this role.
Additional responsibilities include traffic tasks such as order entry and affidavit completion day-to-day office support providing backup to the Traffic Department as needed and other duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $23 - $26 dollars an hour.
