Position Overview:
Provide professional virtual front desk and appointment support across Columbias multi-state clinics. The Appointment Desk Specialist will manage patient communication via phone email text and chat handling scheduling reminders and administrative coordinationall while maintaining empathetic efficient service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound patient inquiries across channels (phone email text chat)
- Schedule confirm and manage patient appointments across all clinic locations
- Send reminders and follow-up communication for upcoming appointments
- Provide front desk support remotely including patient inquiries and visit preparation
- Document all patient interactions accurately within clinic systems
- Adhere to patient privacy and HIPAA regulations
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree of any related field
- 3 years of U.S. healthcare front-desk or appointment coordination experience is required.
- Proficiency with any EMR/Billing platform is required.
- Detail-oriented with a track record of accurate timely work
- Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Comfortable managing high-volume multi-channel patient communication
- Familiarity with scheduling tools and healthcare workflows
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
