Job Summary
Radiation Therapist- Travel Position
Location: Englewood CO
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s
Pay: $1919/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our team. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments operating advanced therapy equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented patient-focused and dedicated to delivering high-quality cancer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare position and monitor patients during therapy sessions.
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with accuracy and safety.
Educate and support patients and families regarding the treatment process.
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment documentation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards infection control policies and quality assurance practices.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification COVID vaccine recent TB test
At least 1-year radiation therapy experience
