This is a remote position based in the greater St. Louis Columbia or Kansas City MO areas with 3040% travel.

Position Summary

The Talent Development Manager serves as a strategic partner in advancing the growth and success ofAmericares team members. This role has enterprise-wide influence by designingand implementing learning and development solutions that strengthen employeecapabilities foster a culture of engagement and high performance and enhanceorganizational addition to assessing learning and leadershipdevelopment needs building innovative programs and measuring their impactthe Talent Development Manager leads projects and people within the talentdevelopment function. As part of the People function and reporting to the ChiefPeople Officer the Talent Development Manager delivers on clear communicationeffective reporting and strong project management to ensure alignment withorganizational priorities and the successful execution of key talent developmentinitiativesempowering Americares people to deliver exceptional care andservice.

Essential Functions

Team Leadership:

  • Lead coach anddevelopment Talent Development team to continuously improve design and deliveryof employee training and development programs to enhance individual andorganizational capabilities.
  • Oversee facilitation and deliveryprogram coordination and administration and learner support and coaching.
  • Maintain positiveand professional relationships with all levels of Americare co-workersoperators external partners vendors and the public.
  • Prepare budgetaryrecommendations that meet departmental goals and provide for effectivemanagement of resources. Present figures as part of the People teams costcenter in the Company operating plan; manage expenditures monitor monthlyexpenses and report variances as appropriate.
  • Manage vendorrelationships within the Talent Development scope of responsibility.

Learningand Development:

  • Design develop and implement a variety of talent development initiatives and learning events across the company through various platforms (i.e. classroom webinar virtual).
  • Meet with key leaders to understand thebusiness outcomes essential for success; assess development needs perform gapanalyses and identify emerging trends to meet current and future skill needsof Americare employees; build appropriate talent interventions and metrics totrack progress against these goals.
  • Assess andrecommend technology-based learning and Human Capital Management platform(s) solutionssupporting the full spectrum of adult development (i.e. skills technologyrelationships project management leadership etc.); demonstrate proficiencyin modern learning strategies and tools including online mobile micro socialblended gamification and learning management systems.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and external communication vendors to market learning opportunities throughout the organization and externally.
  • Oversee the administration of theAmericare Learning Management System and assigned coursework.
  • Evaluate all strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals and desired business outcomes.
  • Oversee the execution of Train the Trainersessions to meet on-going business needs; coach upskill/reskill team memberson training and facilitation best practices.

Leadership Development:

  • Design develop and lead innovativeleadership development initiatives and programs that support the strategicdirection of the organization.
  • Developquantitative and qualitative metrics to measure the impact of leadershiplearning solutions on leader effectiveness; modify programs as needed tosupport the evolving needs of the business.
  • Providetalent guidance to internal leaders in areas such as needs assessment identificationand recommendation of leadership development learning solutions.

Program and Project Management:

  • Develop project plans related budgets timelines and complete required business planning documentation. Manage projects from inception to completion using electronic tools (ex: Trello Monday etc.) to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Provide regular and timely updates on project status ensuring transparency accountability and alignment with stakeholders throughout each phase of execution.
  • Flex and flow to lead through competingcommitments and shifting priorities in a dynamic and rapidly changingenvironment.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses to determine need project scope and best training methodology to ensure that talent solutions (i.e. education training mentoring) fulfill the needs and objectives of the company.
  • Manage all aspectsof program needs including coordination logistics marketing delivery anddocumentation of training records.
  • Prepare reportsincluding charts and graphs and present recommendations for action plans tomanagement.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Education and Certifications/Designations:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Education Human Resources or a related field required;Masters degree strongly preferred.
  • ATD-CPLPATD Master Certifications Institute of Organizational Development (IOD)Certifications Change Management (e.g. Prosci IMA-AIM) and/orSHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR credentials preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimumof
progressive experience in talent development leadership development and/or talent integrating change management leadership development and talentmanagement practices strongly preferred.

  • Minimumof
experience intalent management and/or learning and development.

  • Healthcareindustry experience in talent development strongly preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies

Technical Expertise:

  • Strongfoundation in adult learning principles leadership and learning programdesign talent development consulting and instructional design.
  • Provenexperience conducting comprehensive training needs assessments to identifyskill gaps and align learning strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Proficiencywith a range of learning tools including
Captivate Lectora) video/mediatools (Synthesia Vyond Camtasia) and LMS/collaboration platforms (Cornerstone Workday LearningSuccessFactors Microsoft Teams Zoom).

Demonstrated ability to manage largecomplex initiatives using recognized project management methodologies andtools.

Business and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strongbusiness acumen with the ability to align talent development strategies to organizationalgoals.
  • Excellentfacilitation communication consulting and interpersonal skills with theability to influence and partner effectively with employees and leadership atall levels.

Demonstrated capability to buildtrust foster collaboration and provide functional expertise across diverseteams.

WorkEnvironment and Expectations

Position Overview

  • Type:This is a full-time Exempt position.
  • Schedule: Core working hours are Monday through Friday withadditional hours based on need to perform job responsibilities.
  • WorkEnvironment: This is a remotely based role thatworks primarily in an office setting.

Travel: 30-40%travel is required to various facilities conferences and meetings and willinclude overnight stays. Mustmaintain a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.

The physical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job and include:

Standing sittingwalking changing of position reaching extending hands & arms reachacross midline crouching balancing kneeling stooping bending lifting orcarrying 25lbs & push and pull 100 lbs.

Safety Equipment

It is mandatory to follow safetypolicies and procedures including use carts when moving items as well as allpersonal protective equipment. Rather than lift heavy objects break down itemsto smaller quantity.

Use of seatbelt when operating or traveling in a car. Hands-free cell phone use required whenoperating a vehicle.

Mandatoryreporting of all work-related injuries within 12 hours to supervisor withparticipation in required documentation.

Participationin our drug & alcohol testing procedures is a mandatory part of employmentwith this facility.
