Job Description
Provides formalized continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution. Also responsible for employee development coaching and ongoing performance management. Plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas.
Core responsibilities
- Planning: Define project goals scope and deliverables. Create a detailed project plan timeline and budget.
- Execution: Assign tasks to team members and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Monitoring and controlling: Track project progress monitor costs against the budget and identify and mitigate risks.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the team clients vendors and other stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations.
- Team management: Lead and motivate the project team resolve conflicts and manage project resources effectively.
- Closing: Ensure all project activities are completed final deliverables are approved and necessary documentation is finalized.
- Able to present to leadership using necessary templates
