Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior IT Auditor to join our clients team. This role requires strong analytical skills a solid understanding of IT risk management and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan lead and execute IT audits in line with internal audit methodologies and international best practice.
Assess IT risks controls processes and governance structures across applications infrastructure databases and networks.
Evaluate the adequacy of security measures disaster recovery and data integrity controls.
Identify weaknesses recommend improvements and follow up on remediation of findings.
Partner with business units to ensure IT risks are properly managed and mitigated.
Prepare clear concise and well-structured audit reports for senior management.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated on emerging technologies cyber risks and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of IT general and application controls.
Solid understanding of IT risk management cybersecurity and information security.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and report-writing skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement ability (both technical and non-technical).
High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of frameworks such as COBIT ISO 27001 or NIST.
Proficiency with audit and data analytics tools (e.g. SQL Power BI ACL IDEA).

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
CISA certification is essential.
Minimum of 3 years experience in IT audit IT risk or related fields.
Additional certifications such as CISM CRISC CIA or CISSP are an added advantage.
