Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
Identify approach and secure new clients within the marine offshore and logistics sectors.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations proposals and quotations to local and overseas customers. - Customer Relationship Management
Build maintain and grow long-term relationships with corporate customers shipping lines and overseas agents.
Develop account plans to maximize revenue and ensure repeat business. - Operational Coordination
Work closely with operations warehousing and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders including handling dangerous goods storage and time-sensitive deliveries.
Liaise with finance and procurement teams to align pricing and service terms. - Sales Reporting & Forecasting
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports on activities forecasts and market trends.
Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in freight forwarding shipping or marine logistics.
- Strong customer-facing negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office; prior experience with sales forecasting preferred.
