Being an intern or student at Cascades is a unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion as our newStudent - Production.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Complete quality inspections on finished products in accordance with quality standards
- Manual labor which involves lifting up to 50lbs and carrying out repetitive tasks
- Use glue guns nail guns and other hand tools to build and assemble finished boxes
- Always maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Review machine operation and maintenance manuals and update the preventive maintenance program.

- Current student
- Must be 18 years or older
- A questioning mindset the desire to ask for clarification of our processes to gain a deeper understanding
- Ability to use hand tools read a tape measure and do basic math
- Strong work ethic attendance and punctuality is essential to our mutual success
- Comfort working in an environment with varying noise and temperature levels
